Boys in grades 7-12 may spend a school day on campus to experience cadet life. A young man will be paired with a current cadet and "shadow" him through his morning classes, review the troops, enjoy lunch, and have an opportunity to ask the cadet questions about our school and weekend activities. Your son will have a tour of the school and then attend a few morning classes with a cadet escort. Parents are asked to join their son and his cadet escort for lunch. In the afternoon, your son will take our entrance exam and followed by interviews with school representatives from Enrollment, Academics, and Resident Life.
Shadow days may be arranged by appointment, Monday through Friday, during the school year. The day's schedule begins at 9 a.m. and concludes at 4:30 p.m. The Shadow a Cadet Program requires a completed application and payment of $115, which includes our $100 application fee. A "copy" of your son's school transcript is required (a certified or actual copy is not necessary).
