Old Boys' Memorial Library

St. John's Northwestern Military Academy * Facilities *  Library Memorial Hall is the oldest original building on the SJNMA campus, and its story encapsulates much of the history of the school's growth and development. Completed in 1894 as a gymnasium complete with a suspended running track, the building has also served as a chapel, physics and botany laboratory, classroom area, study hall, and theater.St. John's Northwestern Military Academy * Facilities *  Library The Academy's library was moved into the building in 1926, when the building was renamed the Old Boys Memorial Library. The library continues to occupy the upper level of the building, with administrative offices on the lower level.

St. John's Northwestern Military Academy * Facilities *  Library Designed by Milwaukee architect John Moller, the building is also rich in architectural history. The building was modeled after the designs made popular by famous architect H.H. Richardson, including "eyelid dormers," arched windows, and rough granite exterior sourced from Waukesha quarries. Any visit to SJNMA campus should include a trip through this beautiful school landmark.
