Our Boarding Program in Brief
St. John's Northwestern is primarily a boarding school for young men in grades 7 through 12. Each year, the Academy enrolls up to 350 young men from around the world who attend the school as boarding students. These students live two to a room in one of the Academy's three residence halls and are fully immersed in the St. John's Northwestern experience. Boarding cadets spend the entire academic year on campus with the exception of holiday breaks and open weekends explained further below. All boarding cadets are eligible to compete for the top leadership positions within the Academy's Corps of Cadets.

Our Day Program in Brief
In addition to its boarding program, St. John's Northwestern has an active day-only course of instruction for young men in grades 6 (using our traditional 7th grade curriculum) through 12 who live near the Academy, but prefer not to enroll as boarding cadets. Day cadets are fully eligible to participate in all programs including varsity and junior varsity athletics. The only restriction is that day cadets are not generally considered for the top leadership positions within the Corps of Cadets. The day program is an excellent way for your son to receive a quality education while interacting with students from around the world.
