Media Requests
The Public Affairs and Communications Office serves as the primary contact for all media activity at St. John's Northwestern Military Academy. If you are a member of the media and would like more information about Academy programs and services, special events and parades, or would like to request an interview with a member of our faculty or staff, contact the Public Affairs and Communications Office.
As an educational provider, SJNMA is required by law to protect minor confidentiality in name and image. Therefore, we ask that media representatives who visit our facility:
- Schedule the visit ahead of time through the Public Affairs and Communications Office.
- Register at the Command Post located in the main entry way of DeKoven Hall where you will be met by an Academy representative.
- Remain with the Academy representative as assigned while on the campus grounds.
- Do not speak with or photograph cadets without approval and presence of an Academy representative.
- Recognize that we may be able to connect you with cadets and their parents or guardians who are willing to be interviewed.
