Boarding cadets live two to a room in one of the Academy's three residence halls and are fully immersed in the St. John's Northwestern experience. Smythe Hall will be designated as a female only residence hall. Boarding cadets spend the entire academic year on campus with the exception of holiday breaks and open weekends.
Day Program
In addition to our boarding program, we offer day-cadet program for students who live near the Academy, but prefer not to enroll as boarding cadets. Day cadets are expected to participate in activities across all four pillars of instruction. Day cadets in grades 11 and 12 may exercise the privilege to drive personal vehicles to and from the Academy each day with prior approval.
Joe Sevenz
Retention Officer
"St. John’s Northwestern is more than a school; it is a way of life. It instills a sense of commitment to something greater than oneself. Having the luxury of looking through the eyes of a grandfather, I watch our young people grow as they learn valuable life lessons and develop lasting relationships. They remind me each day that life is a marathon, not a sprint. Each day they renew my faith that the world will be in good hands when it is their turn at the wheel."
