Anita Kopaczewski has 30 years of experience in business and administrative duties. She worked as an international documentation specialist for The Heil Co. from 1972 to 1982. From 1983 to 1992, she volunteered as a religious education teacher at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish in New Berlin, Wisconsin. After completing various courses at Milwaukee Technical College and Carroll College, she became the administrative assistant to the vice president of meat and procurement where she also handled the fresh seafood buying for Kohl's Food Stores from 1982 to 2002. When Kohl's Food Stores left the community, she joined the Academy in March 2003 as the administrative assistant to the director of alumni and development. In 2007, she became the office manager of advancement, alumni and development, and in January 2009, she was promoted to assistant director of alumni. She received the Nita Farrand Staff Excellence Award and became an Honorary Old Boy in May 2009. In February 2016, she assumed the position of director of The Columbarium, and in March 2018, she was promoted to director of alumni to serve the alumni and community of SJNMA.
