Jaime Buege has more than 15 years of experience in public relations, publication development, research, events planning and media relations. Prior to joining the Academy in May 2008, she worked in public relations and communications for a not-for-profit company and a marketing communications firm, which included clients in wireless communications, lodging and hospitality, technology, health care and retail. In addition, she worked in the tourism industry for the Winona Area Chamber of Commerce, and Winona Convention and Visitors Bureau in Minnesota.
She is a member of the Public Relations Society of America. She has been active as a volunteer in the community for many years, currently volunteering at the Milwaukee Rescue Mission. Previously, she served as a public affairs team member with the American Red Cross in Southeastern Wisconsin, was a member of the Milwaukee Press Club, and volunteered at LifeStriders Therapeutic Riding Center in Waukesha. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication studies with a minor in Spanish from Winona State University in Winona, Minnesota.
