As a private educational institution, St. John's Northwestern Military Academy must rely on the financial support of our alumni, parents and friends to help ensure that our programs and facilities are the best they can be.

Our largest fundraising event of the year is The Excalibur dinner and auction, and it is widely attended by alumni, parents, staff and people who do business with our school. Last year, 340 guests attended and $309,000 was raised to benefit the entire SJNMA community.

Guests of The Excalibur will enjoy a fun social atmosphere, delicious food and fabulous auction items to bid on. The Excalibur will once again use the electronic bidding devices for the silent auction. You'll be able to use your smartphone or a provided BidPal device to bid from anywhere at any time during the silent auction. And if you are unable to attend the event, you can still bid on items remotely.
Auction Items Needed
Please consider donating an item for the auction. Unique items do very well (things that cannot be purchased in a store)! Other desired items include any type of food baskets, wine, sports memorabilia, electronics, vacation homes/trips, unique experiences, spa services and jewelry.

Tickets are $90 per person until April 1 ($105 thereafter). Cadet tickets are $65 each regardless of when they are purchased.

The Excalibur cannot be a success without special donors to help underwrite the event. Sponsorship details will be available soon. 

Consider a Faculty/Staff or Cadet Appreciation Donation
For a tax-deductible donation of $125, honor an SJNMA faculty/staff member or a cadet by having the individual's name listed in a special section in the auction catalog and on the Academy's website.

FUND-A-NEED: To Be Determined
Guests will be given the opportunity to raise their paddles in support of a special project that will be announced soon. Last year's Excalibur FUND-A-NEED raised $139,000 to support Operation: Lancer Shield to provide security for every person and space on our campus.


Saturday, October 5, 2019 | East of Price Davis Field | Casual Attire

Held during Homecoming Weekend on Saturday, September 29, 2018, the third Fall Fest Fundraiser hosted hundreds of attendees and was a HUGE success. Held at a new venue, east of Price Davis Field, guests enjoyed a beautiful fall day with delicious food at the OBAA Pig & Chicken Roast, a wonderful silent auction with mobile bidding, fun activities, and more. Of particular note was the outstanding entertainment by The BAND Hennes Sisters featuring cadet Olivia Hennes 2024 (age 12) and her three siblings: Meguire (16), Kylee (14), and Taressa (9). The BAND Hennes Sisters is a classic rock cover band, and they were a sensational addition to Fall Fest! THANK YOU to everyone who supported Fall Fest through a sponsorship, auction item/beverage donation, by contributing their time and talent, and/or attending.
